Stop 1 of the USLege Summer Tour took the team west. The CSG West Annual Meeting ran July 7 to 10, 2026 in Salt Lake City, and it was the first time USLege joined the room.

Why CSG West

The CSG West Annual Meeting brings together state legislators, legislative staff, and policy leaders from the 13 western states. For a company built around what is happening inside state legislatures, that is exactly the room to be in. Much of the western policy conversation happens across state lines rather than inside any one capitol, and the people doing that work were all in one building for four days.

What we brought

CSG West is where we debuted Ballot Box, our interactive booth station, alongside the American Legends Photo Booth. Both did what we hoped: they gave people a reason to stop, and the conversation that followed was almost always about the actual work. Co-founder and CEO Eric Davis may have had more fun at the photo booth than the attendees did.

Co-founder Laura Davis was on the floor for the full run, and the team spent the meeting doing short demos for legislators, staff, and government affairs teams who wanted to see how USLege turns raw bills, hearings, and testimony into connected, sourced analysis.

What we took away

The recurring theme was volume. Teams covering multiple western states are tracking more bills, more hearings, and more agency activity than they can reasonably read, and most of them are still doing it by hand. That is the problem we built for, and hearing it repeated by people from 13 different states in four days was a useful confirmation.

Thanks to CSG West for the welcome. If we did not get a chance to meet you in Salt Lake City, reach out and we will pick up the conversation.
