Leaving FiscalNote or PolicyNote? You're not alone.

Switching off FiscalNote? It's easier than you think.

This is what USLege does that FiscalNote does not.

You already know the frustrations, alerts that lag, search that misses what you actually need, and a platform that feels like it was built for a different era. USLege gives you true 50-state plus federal coverage, live searchable hearing video across the vast majority of states, full transcripts, and an AI-native foundation built from day one, so what you get back is your time.

In January 2026, FiscalNote announced it had completed customer migration from the legacy FiscalNote platform onto PolicyNote, its own rebranded product. Whichever name is on your invoice, this page is for you.

Live alerts, never miss a moment Largest transcribed government video archive in the world AI native since 2023 Founder-led and stable

Switching to USLege takes about 30 minutes. Our AI merges your data in, even 15 years of tracked bills, and we buy out whatever's left on your FiscalNote or PolicyNote contract. You never start from zero, and you never pay two vendors at once. See the contract buyout →

One vendor, a new name

FiscalNote became PolicyNote.

FiscalNote unveiled PolicyNote as its AI policy intelligence product, and in January 2026 announced it had completed customer migration from the legacy FiscalNote platform onto PolicyNote. If your team was moved from FiscalNote to PolicyNote as part of that transition, or you're still deciding whether to make the switch, this page is written for exactly that situation.

Worth knowing before you renew

Is FiscalNote financially stable right now?

FiscalNote was delisted from the NYSE in April 2026, after its stock fell below the exchange's minimum price requirement, and now trades over the counter. That delisting triggered a default on the company's subordinated notes. FiscalNote has been in forbearance with its creditors since, an agreement extended multiple times as of this writing. In March 2026 the company announced an "organizational transformation," including a roughly 25% workforce reduction and a corresponding cut to cash operating costs. These facts come from FiscalNote's own public SEC filings and press releases, not our characterization of them.

Teams who made the move
We had the broad coverage FiscalNote is known for, but the tool did not move at our pace. With USLege the video is right there next to the bill, it answers questions from live data, and it keeps shipping. It de-risked our whole stack.
