Alyssa Lovelace

Alyssa M. Lovelace has spent nearly two decades in New York government relations — a career that started, almost by accident, at 19, when she signed on as a legislative intern for a nursing home association and was lobbying by 21. Now a Partner at Hill, Gosdeck, McGraw & Nemeth, she has built a practice spanning telecom, natural gas, homecare, and crypto, developing annual legislative and regulatory strategies and running grassroots advocacy and education campaigns for clients across the state. Her wins this session included beating back a gold bullion tax, in the budget and as standalone legislation, and defeating biosolids legislation on both fronts as well. Lovelace still counts long-term care and home care among her closest professional ties, the industry where she got her start, and she remains a trusted mentor to those coming up behind her in the field. She lives in Saratoga County with her husband and six pets — her kids, she'll happily tell you, are grown and out of the house — and beyond the Capitol, she is a member of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation's Upstate NY Chapter.
