USLege Co-Founder Laura Davis Highlights Texas’ Emerging Leadership in Artificial Intelligence at Texas Dynamism Summit
USLege Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer Laura Davis joined senior leaders from Amazon, OpenAI, and Meta Tuesday at the Texas Dynamism Summit
SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 19, 2025. USLege Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer Laura Davis joined senior leaders from Amazon, OpenAI, and Meta on the opening panel of the Texas Dynamism Summit, hosted by the Texas Association of Business at Port San Antonio on November 18. The panel, "AI & The Texas Advantage," examined how startups and global technology companies are positioning Texas as a center of American AI progress.
The panel was moderated by Megan Mauro, executive vice president of the Texas Association of Business, and ran alongside a fireside chat with Governor Greg Abbott and remarks from Port San Antonio President Jim Perschbach. The summit's agenda centered on three pillars, artificial intelligence, energy, and advanced manufacturing, as Texas positions itself for a larger share of the national AI economy.
Built for the pace of policy
Davis used the panel to describe how USLege's platform supports government relations teams who track legislation, testimony, and regulatory activity across dozens of committees at once.
"At USLege, we understand the work human government relations professionals do and respect the challenges they face. A big part of their job is monitoring hearings, testimony, news, and proposals across a broad range of issues. This work is essential, incredibly valuable, and enormously time-consuming. Even the best lobbyists can't be in 8 committee rooms at once," Davis said.
She pointed to results from an existing customer to illustrate the platform's impact. "One of our largest customers, a state agency's government relations department, was able to double their productivity and improve their response time using the same staff. USLege uses AI to empower the human element, not replace it," Davis said.
Texas as an AI proving ground
Davis also spoke to why Texas has become fertile ground for AI-driven products like USLege's. "Texas business leaders are known to think big, and they understand that AI is a transformational technology," she said. "This Texas-sized ambition is supported by an environment that supports entrepreneurs embracing the power of AI to build products that solve real-world challenges, products that can compete and win globally."
